
TSSF/CMAS One-Star Diver Training
Participation Conditions
TSSF-EQUIPPED DIVING DIRECTIVE,
ARTICLE 5
(1) Conditions to get diver's training and the required documents;
1) Being at least 14 years old, for the ones under 18, written permission is needed from parents,
2) Being able to swim,
3) Having met the health conditions stated in the 18th article of TSSF-Equipped Diving Directive.
Duties, Powers and Responsibilities of Divers
TSSF-EQUIPPED DIVING DIRECTIVE,
ARTICLE 7
- a) S/he must have received training and license from a diving institution approved by the federation. S/he is a diver who can wear and remove the diving equipment, apply all diving skills easily, dive as deep as up to 18 meters at maximum provided that s/he is accompanied with a three-star diver or diving trainer. S/he cannot do night dives.
Health Conditions Sought in Divers
TSSF-EQUIPPED DIVING DIRECTIVE,
ARTICLE 18
(1) Equipped diving is a sport activity requiring to be healthy. Divers who have participated in the one, two and three-star training and specialization training are informed by the trainer about diving health, possible diseases and accidents and then they fill in and sign the Equipped Diving Health Notice Form (Form 9) prepared by the Federation. The forms of the ones under 18 are signed by their parent. The divers who state that they have a disease in this form are sent to the relevant branch specialist or Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Specialist and get a report as to they have no health condition to prevent them from diving.
