Tandem Paragliding Flight from 2000m Babadağ

Having been operating in Ölüdeniz where is the iconic point of paragliding since 2003, we invite you to feel this excitement and fun.

Everyone who flew or not, can enjoy paragliding flights and the magnificient view of Ölüdeniz. Only you need to sit comfortably and tell your pilot what you want like gliding smoothly, flying thermals, spiralling down...etc.

Please remember to state your pick-up point at the reservation stage.

ENTERTAINTMENT

Joyous and exciting adventure is just around the corner. Take-off area is at 2000 metres/ 6600 ft but it is possible to get higher with flying thermals (rising hot air). Gliding over beautiful Ölüdeniz would be breathtaking experience for you.

AIR TIME

Flight takes around 20-45 minutes. Your choices (smooth gliding, flying thermal or acrobatic moves ) determine air time. 

WHAT TO BRING?

Sun glasses, sneakers or boots. Flight suits will be given by our company. 

PROGRAM

Everyday 5 tandem paragliding tours are organized. Every tour takes approximately 2 hours: 40 minutes transfer to take-off area, 10 minutes briefing before take-off, 20-45 minutes air time and 20-40 minutes after flight briefing, video checking & meeting at office.

09.00: Stable conditions, comfy, calm flight, suitable for photoshoot

11.00: Strong conditions, suitable for thermal flying

13.30: Strong conditions, suitable for thermal flying

15.30: Strong conditions, suitable for thermal flying

17.30: Sunset flight, stable conditions, comfy, calm flight, suitable for photoshoot

SAFETY

Safety is maintained by controlling 4 main factors: Weather coonditions, pilot skill, equipment and pilot exhaustion. 

Weather coonditions: This is the main factor in paragliding safety. Our safety flight philosophy is staying on ground if weather conditions are close to safety limits or above. Our pilots never take off until all the safety measures met. 

Pilot Skill: Our pilots have at least 5 years of commercial tandem pilot experience. Please check our pilot profiles.

Equipment: Our company uses products which is the leading manufacturer in paragliding market. 

Pilot Exhaustion: Our pilots can take a leave of absence anytime. By this way, we avoid exhaustion and physical stress. Our company is only one that offer this right of leave (at least 1 day per week) in Ölüdeniz. 

ABOUT BABADAĞ REGION

Babadağ region is located in southwest part of Turkey and rises in Fethiye plain and lies 60 kilometres south to the end of Patara beach. West region has lots of natural bays, coasts, caves and beaches. 

Ölüdeniz gulf and lagoon one of the best photographic beaches around the world is located just under the Babadağ peak. Valleys are seperating the mountains on coastline. One side has Anti-Cragus and Cragus (1967 metres), other side has Karadağ (1400 metres). 

Babadağ is classifed ad one of the crucial places in Unesco's world heritage list because of the endemic species live aroud the region.
